Travelling within the US is always a great experience. The wide expanse of the country leaves a tourist in situation where there is so much to do and so little time. This building stands at a height of about 102 floors and tourists will need to purchase tickets in order to gain entry into the building. In fact, the Empire State Building is now regarded as the tallest building after the bombing of the World Trade Center.
The Statue of Liberty is another monument that a tourist should not miss. Symbolizing friendship, the Statue of Liberty was given to the US as a gift during the French Revolution. The Statue is said to represent US’s open arm policy for immigrants who want to lead a better life in the US. The Grand Central Terminal is another tourist attraction which has evolved into something more than just a transportation hub. The area is now occupied by shopping and dining outlets to allow tourists to enjoy life while in New York. Central Park is another location which allows families and friends to spend time and have fun. A concrete jungle, tourists can enjoy a boat ride or simply walk around the premises and enjoy a relaxed time.
New York experiences a humid subtropical climate. The winters are cold and last from November to about March, with January being the coldest month. June to September is the summer period and the weather can be hot and humid. Sometimes, sudden thunderstorms may be experienced although short-lived.
